Artist, theologian, astrologer and grandson of legendary Uruguayan artist Joaquín Torres-García (1874-1949), discusses his grandfather’s life, as an educator, writer and cultural activist.

JTG is extraordinary among the artists of the first half of the 20th Century for his extensive theoretical work, for the success of Constructivism, and the art school he founded in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Presently, there is a museum dedicated to his legacy and a current show with Mondrian at MoMA in New York City.
