CULTURAL ACTIVISM INTERNATIONAL PROJECT
The organization exists to create social engagement within a worldwide cultural format. Through a wide range of regional and international activity we aim to create a culture of cross-silo community: Integrating diverse communities and cultural activities through social practice/oriented public art; cultural events; exhibitions; art interventions; film making and screenings; meditation programming and retreats; a regional radio program, TUNING FORK FM; international virtual TUNING FORK LIVE video forum; advisory capacity and teaching at the local State University; a newspaper column "WHY ART?" for The Mountain Eagle; artist-led workshops; aligned fiscally sponsored projects; `more – leveraging an engaged art movement directly impacting, education, sustainability, ecology and social equity.
Cultural Activism International Project is a registered public art charity, 501(c)3 nonprofit. Please contact us for more information about upcoming events on the Tuning Fork, at our arts center in Delaware County, artist-led programs, QR Activations, and contemplative workshops/meditation classes.
We’re also interested in your projects! If you have a community-centered project that fits with our mission, let’s talk. Our organization can serve as a fiscal sponsor to support your project and provide tax exemption status for donations. We love to help others expand our network!
